About Ashurst Organics

 

Ashurst Farm has been Soil Association registered since 1994.  Before that it was owned and farmed by the White Brothers, Alec and Horace who hand milked their few dairy cows until 1993.  It has been agrochemical free since at least 1945 and as a consequence is a haven for wildlife.  

 

Ashurst Organics is our vegetable box scheme - supplying freshly picked, organic vegetables to nearby towns and villages.   We hand built our shepherds hut to diversify the business and we hope that by sharing the beautiful piece of planet that we are lucky enough to be guardians of we hope it will help keep our local food enterprise alive.   While hopefully give you the opportunity to relax, unwind and genuinely get away from it all.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

We have only created one hut in Cult meadow as the space is for the wildlife first and foremost.   The field is a small oasis of managed but not 'farmed' land. The hut is therefore off grid but if you are looking to go luxuriously wild and 'get back to nature', are seeking some real peace and quiet to relax, think, dream or get creative without the distractions of the modern world then our hut may be just the place for you......
